BENEFITS OF SEALING CONCRETE:  Sealing concrete – new or old – will help in preventing water from soaking into it. Water can do damage to the reinforcing steel in the slab. Cure and seal products and penetrating water repellent sealers have additional benefits such as: protection against deicing salts; protection against staining; and they can reduce abrasion and wear from traffic. Cure and seals can also enhance the color and produce a shine to stamped, colored or acid stained concrete surfaces.

New concrete: curing & sealing should be applied immediately after finishing so that the concrete can
develop it’s strength and durability.

Sealers should not be applied at temperatures less than 40 degrees.

Application can be done using a sprayer or short nap roller. Apply a uniform, even film.

Exterior concrete should be resealed with a membrane sealer every 3 years; with a penetrating sealer every 5 years.
